Description
This is the original deep-groove “P”-pressing of Clifford Brown “Quartet” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 5047. The flat rim playing surface of Side 2 is in near-new condition; Side 1, though having a high luster, has a series of needle drops at the end of Track 2 and the first half of Track 3 that produces audible tics. The Lexington Avenue frame cover has an almost imperceptible 4” repair at the bottom seam opening; five small checkmarks and age toning on the back slick.
