Description
Cliff Richard - Please Don't Fall in Love / 7" vinyl TEST PRESSING
B/w Too Close to Heaven
EMI UK / Stamped: 13 Oct 1983
EMI5437
Please note this is a single-sided pressing, with one playable side and a blank reverse side. Both sides of the original single are present on two records.
Very rare, this would have been pressed in a set of about 4-5 discs to check the press quality before production. I have listened to it only to verify the track and offer no opinion as to whether it is of an improved sonic quality when compared to a standard pressing.
It appears to have been played little and outside of some dust accumulated from the last -almost 40 years- it remains in great condition and I would rate it as Near Mint...or as Near Mint as a 40 year old, unsealed record in a paper sleeve can be. Supplied with the original, and a plain paper sleeve.
Please see the images as they are of the actual record for sale.
The Matrix numbers on the runout read:
Record 1
Side A: EMI5437 A-1U-1-1-1 / Town House
Reverse side: LPFB (crossed out) / FB7 x 1 120
Record 2
Side A: EMI5437 B-2U-1-1-1
Reverse side: LPFB (crossed out) / FB7 x 1 120
** Overseas buyers please note that Import duties, taxes & charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility, so please check with your country’s customs office before buying, to determine what additional costs may/may not be included.
* EU buyers please note that from January 1/2021, Britain’s exit from the EU has made international shipping considerably more challenging, made even more so by the lack of clarity in some areas. Delays are occurring and buyers both in the EU and Britain are being surprised by new import duties and fees. Please do your homework before bidding/buying to assess whether you should expect these as per the point below.
