Cliff RICHARD -- Superb Hand SIGNED Sleeve for His 1976 12" LP Album 'I'm Nearly Famous.'
On offer is a 12" UK LP album (EMC3122,) released in 1976 by EMI Records, hand SIGNED on the sleeve 'Cliff Richard.' There are 6 songs on each side, including 'Miss You Nights,' considered by many to be Cliff's finest song. The following songs are on the LP -
Side One: "I Can't Ask for Anymore Than You" (Ken Gold, Michael Denne) 2:50; "It's No Use Pretending" (Michael Allison, Peter Sills) 3:22; "I'm Nearly Famous" (Michael Allison, Peter Sills) 3:54; "Lovers" (Mickey Newbury) 2:58; "Junior Cowboy" (Michael Allison, Peter Sills) 2:54; "Miss You Nights" (Dave Townsend) 3:57.

The record is assumed to be a first pressing, with record and sleeve in fine condition. The record was signed for a BBC record producer when it was first released. Stamped on the runout is the matrix number, 'YAX 5125-3' on side 1 and 'YAX 5126-2' on side 2. Hand scratched also on the runout is 'FOR KIPPER' on side 1 and 'WHO'S KIPPER' on side 2. (I have been unable to find what this is all about.) Also on the runout is the stamper code R, on both sides.
This has long been considered one of Cliff Richard's finest albums. On offer is a first pressing, record and sleeve in VERY FINE condition, and with an excellent ink signature of Richard on the sleeve top right. A terrific collector's item.
