A veritable Clash extravanganza! Here is the London Calling LP, Epic Records (E2-36328) USA. Double LP. ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING! I have owned this LP since it came out. It is a promo copy (see stamp on back left corner) and therefore one of the first copies to be distributed. I am Roberta Bayley, photographer for Punk Magazine at the time - we got all our records free - those were the days! (We did have to buy our import singles from Bleecker Bob - there's always a trade-off!) This record has been played but it still in very good condition. It has the original inner sleeves with lots of Clash photos and all of the song lyrics handwritten. Possibly in Joe Strummers handwriting?- I'm not sure. Scratched into the record on the inner part near the label (professionallly, not by me!) there is a single word, one word on each side: "Tear" "Down" "The" "Walls" - a very Clash touch. I am also including an original 8 x 10 black and white photo of Joe Strummer, taken by me in 1980 in Times Square. It was printed by me in 1980 so it is a vintage print. However, it is not part of a limited edition, just from my files, and is marked as such. (My limited edition prints, in this size, sell for $650). There is some writing on the back, identifying it. A very a nice print! I will wait to sign it in case you want it personalized for a Christmas gift, although there is a rough signature already on the back. There is also a little tape residue, but on resin coated paper which this is, it will not be a problem in terms of damaging the image. Remember, this print is already 27 years old and still looks great! ALSO I am including the UK 7" Clash single "White Man in Hammersmith Palais (CBS 6383) which has a really cool label. The B-side is "The Prisoner". The paper sleeve has some water damage, but I don't think I ever played the record - maybe once? Buyer pays $7.50 Priority shipping in USA, $4.50 media mail.
