Sleeve: The front cover is a strong VG+ w/ nice bright graphics w/ no ring wear. Has a light 2" crease by Chuck Berry lettering. Also has a 3 1/2" crease/bend at the top right corner. The back cover is a clean VG++ w/ just a touch of wear, a tiny name & number in light ink at the bottom left corner. Has a 5 1/4" bottom seam split and a partial 1" split at the bottom right corner. Has a 7 1/2" top seam split. The spine is nice & intact w/ complete graphics. Has 2 small light corner bends
Record: Retains decent gloss, has some light surface scuffs and some light groove wear at the beginning of each side, mostly on Side A. I play graded this entire LP. It plays mostly VG++ w/ some light random background surface noise except for just a bit more VG+ surface noise at the beginning of each side. It also has a tiny pressing bubble on Track 2, Side A that causes about 13 light thumps.Still has nice sound presence. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original deep groove1958 Chess black label mono copy of Chuck's first LP, one of the first Rock & Roll LP's ever released.

It's hard to find original copies of this LP in anywhere near nice condition. They've usually been played extreemely hard
