Description
Here's an two acetate disc set by Chuck Berry! These two single-sided discs comprise the two sides that became the LP entitled "More Rock 'N Roll Rarities From The Golden Era Of Chess Records". This archival album came out in 1986 on the Chess label, catalog number CH-9190. The album is notable for using source material from the original session tapes, with many tracks mixed into stereo. The sonic upgrade is pretty staggering compared to the standard mono Chuck Berry albums. These are aluminum-backed acetate discs, not test pressings on regular vinyl. The discs grade VG++ to Near Mint, the look hardly ever played. They were produced by the Artisan Sound Recorders company and are dated 2-27-86 on the labels. Very rare set!
