Description
Artist: Christy Moore
Title: Ordinary Man
Label: WEA Cat: IR 0706
Year: 1985 First Press
Vinyl Condition: NM
Sleeve Condition: VG+
Notes: This original release of the LP was withdrawn very quickly and Christy was held in contempt of court for releasing the song "They Never Came Home". The song deals with the fire that killed 48 people in the Stardust nightclub in Dublin in 1981.The LP was re-released very shortly afterwards with "Another Song Is Born", replacing "They Never Came Home". The vinyl is glossy with no marks and crisp and clean labels and plays all the way through with no issues. The sleeve has a few laminate creases but is otherwise in good order. It comes with the original lyric inner in excellent condition.
All albums have been play tested on my Pro-ject Debut III with standard Ortofon cartridge. I don't often sell albums that are graded below VG - usually only when they are quite rare examples. With albums of G+ or less grading which are typically very well played and scratched, I have found it impossible to assess whether a scratch results in a click or a jump as it depends what set up you have. I will still make every effort to point out where feelable scratches are present.
I will happily combine postage costs - if buying more than one album please wait for an invoice before paying. Please see my other listings.

Generally speaking if an item is over £20, I will send 1st Class "Signed For" and charge £5.50 for which the breakdown is as follows: Royal Mail Postage Charge £4.55, E-Bay/Paypal Charge £0.77, Mailer £0.30 - so you can see I am actually slightly subsidising these items.
