Description
chokehold - content with dying lp. a lot of bands from this time were political af but few were as on-message and unhinged as chokehold. the distortion is turned up to 11 on these relentless buzzsaw guitars, which sacrifice tone and clarity for a metallic groove that leave the path open for chris logan’s pissed-beyond-sanity vocals. and those eerie, old-timey conservative audio clips stitched between songs? well let’s just say this album is as relevant today as when it came out in 1995. from great american steak religion
