These are three of a set of eight (I think)10 inch double sided Chinese English language course 78rpm gramophone record, narrated by Professor Y R Chao, "put out by" Chung Hwa Book Co.

Yuen Ren Chao (born 1892) was a famous Chinese Linguist, Author, Composer, Phonologist who laid down the foundations of modern linguistics in China in the 1920s.
These recordings may be Columbia from late 1920s when he was in the USA.
With two sleeves, one complete one tatty. Playing surfaces worn! Informative!
