A VERY HAUNTING SONG INDEED BY PIONEER SINGER GONG QIU XIA ! A REALLY TOUCHING MELODY !!
COMPOSED BY THE VERY GIFTED CHEN GE XIN ???.
HE WROTE SOME BEAUTIFUL HAUNTING MELODIES IN THE 1940s ERA
FOR MANY SINGERS AT THAT TIME NOTABLY ZHOU XUAN AND YAO LI.
SOUND REPRODUCTION FROM THE 78RPM RECORD WITH A GRAMOPHONE IS UNCOMPRESSED, UNDIGITISED AND ALSO IN RAW ANALOGUE WAVE FORMAT. THIS IS THE REAL ORIGINAL SOUND FROM THE SINGER.
HER SINGING PRODUCED BY THE GRAMOPHONE IS VERY INTIMATE AND IT CANNOT BE CHALLENGED BY ANY OTHER EXISTING RECORD FORMATS AND DIGITISED FORM LIKE CD. ONLY FROM THE 78RPM RECORD - CAN HEAR HER VOICE AT ITS BEST - AS IF SHE IS STILL ALIVE !!!
