Chicago Transit Authority MFSL LP - VG+ Condition

 This is a difficult to find used copy of Mobile Fidelity's audiophile version of Columbia Record's first Chicago album entitled, "Chicago Transit Authority". It has a total of two discs pressed on high definition super vinyl by Victor Company of Japan. Matrix No. 2-128.

The records are in VG+ condition and have been sampled to determine this condition. They appear to have no scratches or sleeve marks on the vinyl. The cover has some slight ring wear on the front from years of storage (VG) and there are no cardboard inner sleeves - just the original anti-static sleeves that the album came with. (I don't believe that Mobile Fidelity was using the cardboard inner sleeves at the time this was issued.) In appearance, the vinyl appears to be totally clean and I have played them only once to record them and then sampled them to determine the condition of the disks. I am the second owner of this item. There may appear to be an very occasional mild pop when playing. If there weren't, I would grade this item as near mint for the vinyl.

There is no reserve except for the starting bid.

Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail at a flat rate of $8.00 in the USA. Please contact me if you live in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska or the Virgin Islands for shipping costs as they will be higher than mainland shipping (probably $2.00 more). Shipping will include insurance and delivery confirmation. If you purchase more than one item in this auction, you will save on shipping. This item only ships in the USA!

Refunds will be available if the item is shipped back to me (in my possession) within 7 days of delivery confirmation, but you must contact me first for all returns. However, refunds will not be given frivolously as this item has been accurately described and tested. Please don't expect a refund if this item has been mishandled by the buyer or merely used to record the item and then return it. Please don't expect a refund on return shipping.
