Description

The Chicago Transit Authority is the band’s ambitious 1969 debut, a horn-powered double album that fused rock, jazz and soul on enduring tracks such as ‘Beginnings’ and ‘Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?’ This early U.S. Columbia two-eye pressing, catalog GP 8, has Excellent vinyl with a Very Good Plus gatefold sleeve and inlay. Ring and edge wear are present, but the set remains a compelling vintage copy of a landmark debut with all four sides ready to enjoy.
