LABEL: Riverside 12-281

RECORD CONDITION: NM for both sides. Unplayed look. Stamped "PROMOTION COPY" on Side One. See Photo.

COVER CONDITION: VG++. No problems, all corner in great shape. Comes with original waxed paper sleeve. Stamped "PROOMTION COPY" at top on back. See Photo.  

ITEM INFORMATION: September 1958 quartet & quintet recordings. Song titles: Fair Weather / Polka Dots and Moonbeams / Hotel 49 / Solar / Blue Thoughts / When Lights Are Low. One of Baker's great LPs. This is the original, authentic, first US pressing; this is not a reissue, an import, or a counterfeit pressing. Original Blue Riverside Mono Label with Microphone and Reel Logo and silver print. This is the original late 50’s style. Laminated, original cardboard cover. Thick, heavy vinyl pressing with clean wear-free labels, other than “PROMOTION COPY” stamp. To the best of my knowledge, the superior MONO version has not reissued as a CD.

I am a 30-year collector of great classical, jazz, soundtracks and rock records. I have decided to start 2009 with a sale of a limited number of the best items in my collections.  My plans are put up for sale about 10 records per week, for each week of the year. My items have no reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage. All items that sell at $100.00 plus, will be shipped insured.  After bid closing, insurance amount will be calculated and then added to shipping fees reflecting in your invoice.

SHIPPING CHARGES: For single LP’s, Priority Mail is $10.00 anywhere in US and $1.00 for each additional record. Media Mail is $4.00 anywhere in US for first record and $.50 for each additional record. I use a high quality Record Mailer and Bubble Wrap for all records for which I must charge a handling cost of $2.50 per mailer used. For sets and orders of multiple records, please wait for our invoice before paying. For overseas buyers, I will pass on exact cost, plus cost of a high quality Record Mailer and Bubble Wrap.   

REGARDING SHIPPING: I do try and ship as quickly as I can, sometimes it can take a week or so to send items out, depending on how many orders I have. Note that media mail can take three weeks from when I receive payment. 

SURFACE MAIL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE THROUGH THE US POSTAL SERVICE.

GRADING: Sealed LP’s are noted in their description. I grade by visual inspection and play. Mint is not used. Near Mint is my highest grade. VG++ and Near Mint should play problem free; VG+ should play problem free or with noted shortcomings noted in write-up. My description will be accurate. All items guaranteed, but I do not refund shipping costs.
