Description

Rare NW 45. Cheri Robin with The Stingrays "Please Stay Away" / "The Dance" Rivers FW 1008 1963. Record has some surface scratches on Please Stay Away but plays and sounds great on my player. Labels are unmarked. Both sides are originals by Cheri Robin. Recorded at the Wiley- McNatt Studios in Tacoma, Washington. Bill Wiley rigged up primitive reverb chamber in the brick basement of his N. Tacoma studio. He was a very inventive engineer in his day. Wiley died in a car wreck in the 70's and his studio contents were sold and then left in storage for 40 years.
