CHARLIE PARKER WITH STRINGS

3-LP Set in Original Hard Binder

3 10" Vinyl Records, 78 RPM

Mercury C-101.  Released in 1950, I believe. 

3 Records, One Song on each side, Six total tracks.

Record 11036: Just Friends/Everything Happens To Me

Record 11037:  April In Paris/If I Should Lose You

Record 11038:  Summertime/I Didn't Know What Time It Was

Vinyl is in good condition for its age.  Each record plays through well with no skips.  However, there is audio static.  Music sounds great, but there is light surface noise.  Vinyl has been played quite a bit over the years.  Lots of marks and scuffs due to age and use. 

Cover is in good condition for being over 60 years old. Has some blemishes and scuffs due to age, right corner wear.

Musicians include Charlie Parker, Buddy Rich, Stan Freeman, Ray Brown, Mitch Miller, and more.

Beautiful David Stone Martin illustrated cover art.

A nice addition to your jazz collection.  Not mint, but a rare copy of an historical 3-record set.
