Description

Selling a rare  vinyl, 10", 33 1/3 rpm, Charlie Parker With Strings Album.  Mercury Records MG-C-101, Matrix Number: MG 55010A. This album is part of my father's extensive jazz collection.  If you are looking for other rare old albums, ask me and I'll see what I have!  From my online research, it appears that this album was pressed in the 1949-1951 time period, but IAM NOT AN EXPERT! I have played the entire album on an inexpensive USB turntable and the record played without skips. Some noise, as would be expected from an old used record.  Again, I AM NOT AN EXPERT IN RARE VINYL!  That being said, using the playability code that was on a similar listing, I would grade this record as Very Good + to Excellent.  I am trying to be conservative in my grade, since I AM NOT AN EXPERT!  Did I mention that I AM NOT AN EXPERT?

The cover is in good condition, as can be seen by the photos. There is some light wear around the edges, and from rubbing between other albums. The is a pencil mark price on the rear of the cover.

I will ship to international destinations using the EBAY shipping center.  International shipping will be charged at a higher rate. You must use the shipping calculator to estimate your shipping costs for all international shipping. EBAY will set the price for international shipping and customs.  I have no control over what they charge. If shipping international, you must accept the EBAY shipping calculator and EBAY's international shipping policies.

This album is offered AS IS, no warranty, no returns unless the album is broken during shipment. Please ask questions BEFORE you bid!

Grading and Playability Code

Mint or N - a never used record, no wear of any kind.

Near Mint  NM - a seldom used record, played infrequently, no wear of any kind.

New Minus (N-) - A record played with care, with mild and minor inaudible handling marks on the record surface.

Excellent Plus EX+ - A record with light to moderate handling marks, brief, low

intensity instances of light surface noise may occur, most of the record plays to a higher audio grade.

Excellent EX - a more used record that retains the desirable audio characteristics of a

higher grade LP, despite occasional light surface noise.

VG+ - Very Good Plus- a record  offered despite greater degree of usage when it meets

audio criteria of useful listening.
