Charlie Parker Bud Powell The Jazz Scene VA Mercury 78RPM autographed numbered 3306/5000. Autographed by Norman Granz. Includes original David Stone Martin art, all original photos by Gjon Mili. The six discs range from e to m-, all looking unplayed with no grove wear. All pages are included, but have some yellowing, no splits to record sleeves, album is nice with no damage, but some fading is present. Artists include Duke Ellington, Lester Young, Willie Smith, Coleman Hawkins, Machito, Bud Powell, Neal Hefti, Charlie Parker, others.

Grading of 78s is as follows:

M only used for new old stock, which is almost never. M- Just this side of mint, used but appears nearly perfect. E+ A choice copy with no wear whatsoever. E Excellent. Virtually no trace of groove wear with only minimal traces of use and handling.
E- An above average record with a slight degree of groove wear, but not enough to seriously detract from its audio quality. V+ Obviously well played, but still enjoyable. Noticeable graying in the grooves. V Very well worn, but listenable. Expect the surface noise to be significant. There may be some stressed grooves. V- worn. Played with the right equipment, however, you may still derive a certain degree of pleasure from a record in this condition. P significant noise, Possibly unplayable. All grading is visual unless otherwise noted.
