Description

Classic Records 45 RPM Series Audiophile quality issue of the Charlie Mingus "Tijuana Moods" LP, originally on the RCA label. LSP-2533. Only one of the 4 records has ever been played (twice with an audio-technica moving coil artridge). All four records look mint, yet I am grading them as NM or M- to be on the safe side. There a few visible dust particles on the disc surfaces. The main record jacket has a few age stains. The three plain white jackets have multiple age stains. Long out of print. I'm the original owner. I bought it about 20 years ago. This awesome set contains four single-sided (pressed only on one side), 12 inch, 180 gram records cut at 45 RPM, for greater dynamic range and superior high fidelity. Remastered from the original master tapes, by the legendary remastering engineer Bernie Grundman, for the ultimate sound quality experience.
From Discogs: Recorded July 18 and August 6, 1957, New York City. Single-sided 4 Disc Set. Disc 1 is sleeved in the 33 RPM Jacket. Subsequent discs are sleeved in plain white jacket with label cut-outs. Deadwax has Bernie Grundman signature after Matrix data.
4 X 12" Single-Sided 45 RPM Records. Made in the USA.
I've kept all my records in specially designed and made LP plastic storage boxes, on an industrial shelf rack, in a spare bedroom for the last 20+ years (please see photos). Still, some humidity, during the summer months, might have somehow managed to get inside the sealed Japanese Mylar (re-sealable) jacket protector sleeves, causing the stains, over the years. I think a book cover cleaner (used in libraries) might remove those stains. I've cleaned many record covers that way.
Your record set will be securely packaged and mailed in a specially designed and made record mailer box, which protects the jacket corners during shipping (please see photos). Free US Postal Service Media Mail shipping (2 - 8 days), tracking and insurance within the continental USA.
Please no buyer's remorse, no false claims or or any type of dishonesty. I'm not Amazon. I'm just an audiophile selling some of his own record collection. Thank you for your understanding. Please ask any pertinent questions before buying or making an offer.
