Description
On sale here is a shining NM/NM copy of the extremely rare original Finnish RCA pressing of Reflections (RCA YFLP 1-828 [1974]), a recording Charlie Mariano made in Finland with Finnish players and Sabu Martinez. This is NOT the recent reissue, nor the more common US-pressing (with the boring white cover), but the very first and original Finnish pressing. Includes the great jazz dance track “Glenford crescent”, a very nice cover of John Coltrane's “Naima” and many other great tunes. This is a true classic of fusion jazz / jazz dance!
The condition is totally utterly suberb, NM/NM. It seems it has been listened for only once or twice, with NO scuffs nor scratches nor marks of any kind. I playgraded it, and it plays wonderfully. The cover is superlativc also, and it does NOT have the Downbeat-sticker that so many copies have (this implies that this copy has been bought very soon after the record has been released). There is only a very slight bend on upper right corner and some slight wear near the spine on the back cover. See the photos to verify these.
If, however, you do not find this description to be true, I'm more than willing to give a full refund (excluding postage).
This is once in a lifetime oppotunity to get this disc in such a stunning condition. There really is no chance for this to be in a better condition.
The players are
Charlie Mariano: soprano and alto saxophone, nadaswaram
Eero Koivistoinen: soprano and tenor saxophone
Jukka Tolonen: electric guitar
Olli Ahvenlahti: piano, electric piano
Esko Linnavalli: pianoPentti Hietanen: piano

Heikki Virtanen: electric bass
Sabu Martinez: congas, percussion
Esko Rossnell: drums
Reino Laine: drums
The postage for one LP is as follows:
inside Europe 12$ or 9€
outside Europe 18$ or 13.5€
Combined shipping is possible.
sorry about high fees, they rob us at the post office here in Finland ... those are actual fees. And these are the real fees, instead of that 4$ that EBAY forces me to enter. I live in Finland, so it's impossible to send records with 4$... even inside Finland.
Payment with Paypal or direct bank transfer (only in Euro-countries).
NOTE:
This is my fourth time selling here on Ebay, but I've been buying soon for ten years with impeccable reputation and feedback. I have only positive feedback, also from the time when sellers still were able to leave negatives. I've also been selling at discogs.com, see my feedback: http://www.discogs.com/sell/seller_feedback/viima
I mail records with experience, I've been running a small LP-based record label with my mates, and that has given me plenty of time to practice record packing and mailing.
I use stiff cardboard mailers and always remove the record from the original cover to avoid seam splits.
You can bid safely on my records!
