Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Charles Mingus “Pithecanthropus Erectus” on the black and silver labels of Atlantic 1237. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated frame cover is mint, as if it were brand new: amazingly bright and spotless throughout, with sharp corners and perfect seams. Personnel include Jackie McLean, J.R.
