Description

This is Atlantic Records 1237, Charles Mingus Pithecanthropus Erectus, a red and purple, black fan label early mono issue of this classic recording. The record is in strong VG condition (VG(+)) showing marks, causing some light clicks well below the music, with no skips or distortion. The laminated cover is excellent and intact. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode. This is a great initial "play" grade copy of this excellent recording.
