Description
Charles Mingus (with Charles McPherson, Buddy Collette, John Handy, Jack Nimitz, red Callender, Jaki Byard, Lonnie Hillyer, etc) MINGUS AT MONTEREY Jazz Workshop JWS 001 and 002, recordede 1964. Stereo deep groove gatefold rare original, autographed in 70s by CM. Discs play clean and new relative to their original state, which is a little crackly. Overall rates NM-. No sign of play wear. Gatefold jacket is M-: no marks save for the autograph.
Here’s the penultimate from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence. Combined shipping available within reason.
