Condition Sleeve: NM (heavy cardboard with pasted-on printed paper)

Condition Vinyl: EX- (thick, very shiny vinyl that plays powerfully, albeit with occasional pops and crackle due to some typical Studio One pressing inconsistencies. There are two small marks on the first track, side A, that produce a few pops.)

This is the first,  insanely rare, split-stereo pressing of this incredible instrumental roots classic, matrix is DB 115 A/B.

Initially this dropped on Coxsone's Winro imprint with no title names (see pics above!), soon afterwards it was re-issued

on the standard b & w Studio One label.  From around 1977, one of the greatest instrumental albums Mr. Dodd ever issued!

What is truly stunning about this collection is the condition of the majority of these discs, many of whom look as if they’ve never been played.

A word about grading... Being a buyer AND a seasoned collector myself, in other words one who deals with the drug he’s taking, I grade conservatively based on the following criteria:

SEALED = like a virgin!

NM = like new or near new.

EX  = still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss, but may have a few more light surface marks, hairlines, needle tracks which should NOT effect play.

VG+ = a nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or very light scratches. It probably plays with a few pops and a slight crackle at times, but has no serious problems.

VG = a well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, ticks, pops, etc.

VG- = a very well-worn record that plays through without skipping, but will do until a better copy comes your way.

G+, FAIR, etc, etc... the ones I NEVER sell...
