Description
Here for auction: On the Deram label SML 1018 Cat Stevens second album issued 1967 "New Masters". Original UK issue .Decca pressed grooved label's: Comes complete with original Decca inner sleeve. Side 1 matrix 1 W stamper 1 U Side 2 matrix 1W stamper 1 ? Sorry hard to define that letter.
Vinyl is in very fine EX+ condition.Lovely vinyl.Has one minor non sounding scuff on one track.Otherwise totally free of marks even when viewed in strong light.Lies flat on the turntable with no kink's or warps.I played some sections and sound is just what you want.There's no wear or distortion.Beautifully clear sound.Came from a Decca rep who got the records on or before release, and he just kept them virtually unplayed for all these years.Very hard to find a better original record than this.
Cover is in EX+ condition.Has just a few minor creases and tiny blemishes.It still retains it's like new quality.Nice crisp,undinked corner's,a very clean and smart album.Hopefully the photos will show this.
Label's are easily EX+.They have no sticker's or extraneous marks.And any spindle marks there may be are very hard to see, if they are there at all.
Original inner sleeve is EX+.
