You are buying a new/never played bundle of Carnivore and Retaliation by Carnivore. These are fan club reissues meant to copy the original versions. Original front covers, uncensored inserts, and most importantly the original mixes. In 1991 both albums were remixed for CD (and every release after) and the result is in my eyes abysmal. The guitars got buried and Peter's inhuman roar lost the delay effect but was turned up so loud as to sound like bad karaoke. Some prefer the remix as it is clearer sounding overall but I like my metal/punk ugly especially when playing these post apocalyptic warriors. Check out some streams online if you are unsure, the difference is obvious. Also, with the remixes at the end of Legion Of Doom there's a digital glitch for a second that I don't think they ever bothered to correct. I have yet to meet anyone who prefers the "updated" artwork though. Both records come on sick looking colored vinyl that makes it easy to differentiate from a first pressing. Items will be shipped in a record mailer with a plastic sleeve (records outside jackets) to prevent seam splits and "fragile" stickers. Thanks for looking.
