Carl Perkins The Sun Years 3 LP Set OOP
A great songwriter and guitarist, and a member of the million dollar Quartet that emerged on the legendary Sam Phillips’ Sun Records Label (Elvis, Cash, Lewis). Carl Perkins wrote “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Boppin the Blues”, Matchbox”, and many others. An English pressing on the specialist re-issue label, Charley Records (SUN BOX 101), the set includes all 55 tracks recorded by Perkins for the label. Comes with a 14-page booklet. The records are of excellent appearance, and play and sound superb with a minimum if surface noise. Apart from a few minor stains on the inside, the box and booklet are excellent. This set is no longer in print.
