Vinyl Grade:  Vg++ (This is a beloved Plastilyte pressing so it sounds superb with clear fidelity. Looks great. Has a few light hairlines and scuffs here and there but overall very solid and plays loud and clear without surface noise. May have a few clicks or pops here and there which is expected from such an old LP. Great copy) 

Cover Grade:  Vg+ (Nice clean front, no seam splits, clean edges, clean solid spine. Back side on the bottom right corner has light water markings but it looks like it was from a long time ago and material is still strong where it is.  A sticker on back that reads "Say it With Music". Overall not perfect but solid copy) 


Notes:  This is a 2nd press with the New York USA address on the label.  It has the RVG stamp in the deadwax and most importantly the "P" ear mark, which means it was pressed at the original blue note plant and was pressed on high quality vinyl.  I believe the blue notes around this period that have the gold foil "stereo" stickers on the front had seperate master tapes for both stereo and mono, so they were both treated properly and not folded down. It's a great mix and a great pressing.

The universally-accepted record grading system is comically flawed and leaves much to subjective interpretation. Since I sell mostly records from the ’60s and ‘70s (and to some degree from the ‘80s), I am dealing in records that are 40 to 50 years, with an unknown history of care. It is amazing how well many of these records sound today with the way they were taken care of but there is no way I can guarantee that my subjective grading will agree with yours! Since it is so ‘flaky’, don’t have a cow if we disagree.

IMPORTANT: If we happen to disagree and on any grading, please do not be rude about it and please do not ask for a partial refund AND to keep the record. It's simple, if you do not want to keep the record then just return it for a full refund. I will happily pay for return shipping if I am the one at fault. I do my best to grade albums by inspecting them and listening to them. Again, this system is not error-proof because the grading parameters are not concrete....so PLEASE, be patient and kind and I will do my best to earn your stisfaction if it wasn't already earned by receiving the item. 

I have outstanding feedback and that is not by chance. If you read my feedback, the repetitive themes are outstanding customer service, honest communication, and equitable resolution of issues.

One of my biggest gripes is eBay’s feedback. eBay has set up a very elaborate feedback system but unfortunately, eBay has not set out the parameters for giving feedback or DSR ratings. Each buyer just does whatever he/she wants and this leads to chaos but yet eBay uses feedback as its barometer on determining each seller’s future. This reduces some sellers to begging to do anything to avoid low marks and further empowers buyers to extract as much’s they can get from groveling sellers who seem terrified of a negative or a 1 or 2. Without eBay parameters on what constitutes successful seller performance, feedback means very little.
