Description
Artist: Cannonball Adderly & Miles Davis
Album: Somethin' Else
Description: Based on the non-DG & inner sleeve with Roll Call, I believe this is a late '61, early '62 press. The sleeve is definitely correct - laminated with 43 W. 61st St. address on back. The record is 47 W. 63rd address with, RVG STEREO and the Plastylite P in the runoff. Matrix number BN-ST-1595-A (or B). The only detail that doesn't match a first press is that it doesn't have a deep groove.
Sleeve Condition: Strong VG, the sleeve is nice. Spine is fantastic, corners are pretty sharp. There is a little bit of curling at the open side. No bends or splits at all. Back has a name written in marker, but isn't really discolored. Certainly no rips or tears. Would be VG+ without the name. Inner sleeve has some ruffling at the top, but again no splits or tears.
Vinyl Condition: Strong VG, This one is thick vinyl, clean with very nice labels, bright white, very feint spindle marks. Side 1 is VG+ cosmetically, just a copy of tiny marks, but it does does play with some lighter crackle in the first half of A1. Side 2 has a few scattered light, but noticeable lines, but plays with just a touch of crackle in spots. Generally great sound throughout and still a very enjoyable listen.
