• KentChappelle Oct 11, 2021 Happy Pills was built for an analog vinyl release and Ron Nevison produced this album the old school way, much like he did The Who, UFO and Thin Lizzy back in the 70s. Now in 2021 Music On Vinyl came along and nailed the first Happy Pills vinyl release ever doing this under appreciated record justice. It sounds rich, warm & dynamic, and the gold vinyl is of nice quality and offers little to no surface noise. Dave Krusen’s amazing drumming is a high point as are the drum tones as they are much more punchy than on Cd. The sleeve and matte colored booklet is a nice touch as well.
