This is a 3 LP record box set issued by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, still sealed in its original shrink wrap. The set features some key moments in the 50 year history of the CBC, starting with the first broadcast covering Dominion Day 1927, which was the year of the Diamond Jubilee of Confederation. Some of the interesting tracks are reporting on events during WWII, an interview with Elvis Presley, a debate involving Pierre Trudeau and Rene Levesque, an interview with Glenn Gould, commentary by Marshall McLuhan, a track by Leonard Cohen, a track by Margaret Atwood, a speech by Martin Luther King, a segment on How the Beatles changed the world and other musical performances and commentary on events of the day.
