7" Single, 1964, UK, National Calypso (R&B Records) NC.2000

this is the first release of Studio One Calypso music in England on that new label in 1964
A-side is a deadly haunting piece of Jamaican calypso, rendering a tale about the struggles, how the first carnival festival was allowed to take place in Jamaica,
with the help of a one from Germany!
B-side tells about about a certain female music teacher who teaches not only musically.

Unbelievable: never played since 1964: mint! It comes from the remainder of a record shop which went broke in 1981.
I bought it then and stored it for some rainy days. But still sun is shining - so, why keep?
