Description

This rather unasuming looking disc is actually one of THE CURE's biggest rarities.This is a special white label promo for dj's/record executives,featuring what sounds like a slightly  different version of 'A Forest'.This is track 1 on side two.This was issued by Polydor in 1980 with April 1 e 420 in the dead wax and features a fairly broad spectrum of artists on its own and associated labels.THE CHORDS perform'So Far Away/'Somethings Missing' with  THE PASSIONS,ELLA FITZGERALD,SARAH VAUGHAN AND DUKE ELLINGTON,JAMES BROWN,ALTON MCLANE AND DESTINY,MICHAEL MARA,JACK JONES,JOHN HASSELL AND BRIAN ENO.Some copies have a small typed prompt sheet listing tracks but i do not have it.Plain white sleeve with plain cover in which someone has written 'Cure track 1 side 2'.Item in ex shape.This has sold on ebay a while ago for $250.
