PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
STILL SEALED, OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE original Herb Powers, Jr. mastered Electrosound Group Midwest, Inc. first pressing of this obscure modern boogie funk soul killer from right here in Chicago pressed privately on the tiny, highly collectable Cash Ear Records label in 1982 with the original "Rated PG" hype sticker on the cellophane in the top left hand corner on the front cover and original glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!! This is NOT the unofficial UK bootleg pressing on Escrow. This is a 100% guaranteed original first pressing on Cash Ear. Cash Ear was a local label here in Chicago in the early 1980s and only managed to release two 45s and three LPs in their short lifespan including the self titled Loveship album, which is also a hideously rare modern boogie funk killer massively sought after by those in the know. If you've never heard either of these LPs go directly to Youtube and hear your new favorite albums. Only one copy of this LP has surfaced in the last year according to Popsike (the copy that sold for $128.00 in June of last year was a bootleg on Escrow from 2003 so it's disqualified) and it was not sealed. Four sharp corners. Simply impossible to find and even harder to find in mint condition so don't sleep funk collectors. This is as good as it gets. You will not be disappointed.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
