ACKEE 7" UK, CatNo: ACK 136, 1971 A: AUGUSTUS PABLO & THE CREPSOLES INVASION (Produced by Herman Chin-Loy this is one of the most stunning early-reggae productions...a real thriller...I saw it described as "early 70s astral dub"...uptempo sounds and great early 70s sound effects...Pablo on keyboards...no melodica on this one...anyway...was issued in JA on Mr. Chin-Loy's Aquarius-imprint...here we have the original UK-release pressed on DARK-BROWN TRANSPARENT WAX...booooom...outstanding + essential...collectors..selectors...soundgals & soundbwoys...don't miss out!!!) B: CREPSOLES THE WORLD GONNA BE A BETTER PLACE (Nice vocal...but we surely should concentrate 'pon the A-side's monster...!) ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS) FEATURE: COLOURS OF JAH RAINBOW WAX'N'SOUND: DARK-BROWN TRANSPARENT WAX (watch the scan!), ex / ex, both sides look brilliantly w/ hardly nay surface marks, plays total boooom w/ killer punch and great sound! LABEL: both sides show lightest general wear only - the little fluff you may notice was on the scanner, not on the label which is CLEAN! -, NO writings, NO damages, nearly perfect, a dream of a copy - watch the scan, please! Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...) P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...) MORE REGGAE RECORDS FOR SALE
