From my own personal collection I am pleased to offer an exceptional MINT- example of the brilliant blues/rock album by CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL titled “COSMO’S FACTORY”, Catalogue Number LBS 83388. This is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK STEREO 1st ISSUE on the LIBERTY RECORD LABEL, with a near perfect UPTON PRINTING GROUP FRONT-LAMINATED SLEEVE. [The matrix numbers are the earliest A-1/B-1].

The front-laminated single sleeve is in EX+ condition with virtually no wear and only one minor laminate crease near the front opening edge. This is a near perfect sleeve which will be almost impossible to improve upon.

The top quality Liberty record is in MINT- condition. It’s a solid 140g pressing which sits perfectly flat on the turntable. The Liberty labels are like new with no obvious spindle traces. I bought this album shortly after release and can confirm that it has only received a few careful plays. This is probably my favourite Creedence album. It features the mesmerising “Ramble Tamble” and probably the best cover ever! – Creedence’s 11.05 minute version of “I Heard It Through The Grapevine”. The sign on the front cover aptly sums up the musical content of this album - “Lean Clean and Bluesy”. The sound quality is exceptional with wonderful guitar effects. Audio playback is MINT- throughout with no deterioration in sound quality and virtually no unwanted noise at all. You simply will not find a better-playing copy of this essential album – I guarantee it!

The inner sleeve is in unmarked EX+ condition.

Overall this is a beautiful barely-played copy which should please even the most discerning of collectors.

GRADINGS

The records that I offer for sale have been critically play-graded, at loud volume, on a Rega P5 turntable fitted with an Elys 2 cartridge. I will only sell records that play to a high standard. My gradings are strict and in accordance with the following descriptions:

·         MINT- Record is superb, almost like new, with just a few sleeve removal type surface marks and no deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve is near perfect in all respects.

·         EX Record is a top quality example, with just a few very light surface marks which do not sound, and barely any discernable deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve has slight wear and/or creasing.

·         VG Record has some visual surface marks, but still plays to a high standard without any major deterioration in sound quality – just a few clicks or light surface sound in places. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects. Still a very presentable sleeve.

PACKAGING

LPs are packaged with care and well protected to ensure that they arrive safely in the same condition as they leave me. Records are removed from both inner and outer sleeves in order to prevent seam-splits in transit.
