This record is in very good+ condition. It does have a lot of spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks, stains or any severe fading. There is some light wear around the centres but these are not loose or overly worn. There is also a tiny scuff on the label of side 1 but this is very small. Overall the labels are in good shape with all text legible but with the numerous spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything deep or really serious but do have some light scratches and the odd mark showing in normal light. These are all light and none can be felt but they are visible in normal light. These clearly show under bright light with some more incredibly light wispy lines and signs of use/age but again nothing serious. So overall a used vintage record that has no nasty marks or serious blemishes, has a lovely lustre but has signs of use and light marks/scratches as mentioned.
I play tested the record and it played well throughout and produced very enjoyable audio with no serious issues and minimal interference of any sort. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is next to no movement in the record arm. There are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks/pops and overall only minimal levels of surface noise. There was some light surface noise in the run in/out, and a trace between some tracks but nothing at all severe. Overall I enjoyed the play test from start to finish and it played through producing audio of nice quality with no major issues, only traces of interference and would grade higher audibly than the visual VG+ grade.
The front laminated sleeve is in excellent condition. It has wear and rubbing to the spine and corners(pics) with the writing along the spine now no longer legible. There are no splits anywhere however and despite the wear to the spine it is still solid. Other than the wear to the spine there is little to report with next to no creasing to the laminate and barely any ring marks showing. There is no scuffs, tears or pen marks and minimal amounts of grubbiness to the rear. Overall the sleeve is clean, bright and looks great for 50 years old. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original plain white inner in very good+ condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but does have some creasing, ring marks and some age related discolouring.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
