An extreme rarity, a huge and very heavy(weighs over 2 kilos) boxset on Computer music released from IBM Germany(have a look at my other auctions for more electronic music records!!) with contributions from composers like Horacio Vaggione(known from his album on Cramps nova Musicha series), James Dashow, Klaus Ager, Pierre Boulez(in one of this rare electronic pieces) and Serge Blenner.

Beautiful clear vinyl look unplayed and comes inside a mint condition gatefold cover. The heavy book comes also in mint condition and describes the evolution of computer music, with photos, diagrams and texts in german by Heinz Josef Herbort.

The composers on this record belong to a tradition of computer/electronic music composers like Lejaren Hiller, Pietro Grossi, John Cage, Henry Jacobs  and of course Henk Badings, David Tudor, Tom Dissevelt, Tod Dockstader, Herbert Eimert, Gottfried Michael Koenig, also the musique concrete school of Pierre Henry, Pierre Schaeffer. Contemporaries of the composer were artists like Udo Kasemets, Alvin Lucier, Charles Amirkhanian and of course Jon Appleton, Pierre Henry, Ilhan Mimaroglu, Larry Austin, while also one could bring up Jerry Hunt, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Daria Semengen, Glenn Branca, Bruce Haack, Phil Niblock and why not Luigi Nono, Penderecki, Iannis Xenakis, Bernard Parmegiani, Luc Ferrari, Pierre Schaeffer and Trevor Wishart.

Box lies in excellent- to vg++ condition with minor stains on the back and some corner wear and yellowing!! Extremely difficult  to find, don't lose this chance to grab it now!!
