Includes 6 LP records in original sleeves with dozens of tracks of Sidney Bechet and his many recording groups including: Port Of Harlem Seven, Josh White Trio, Blue Note Quartet, Blue Note Jazzmen, with Bunk Johnson, Art Hodes Five, Bechet-Nicholas Blue Five, Bechet's Hot Six, etc.
Comes with a 16-page illustrated booklet containing extensive biographical information on Bechet by John Chilton, a complete discography on the records, and copious notes on the music.
A fantastic collection, and for viynly fans it represents the very best quality we have come to expect from the good folks at Mosaic Records.
CONDITION: I hestitate to use the grade MINT, but this copy comes as close to it as possible.
