On offer is a Collection of mainly 1960's Beatles records.18 x Singles and 4 x ep's.
All are Original pressings unless otherwise stated, please note quite a few have a small plastic number sticker on the labels - see pics.
All have been play tested and graded as follows:
(1) Love me do / P.s I Love you - R4949 - 1982 Red label re-issue - Plays Ex.
(2) Love me do / P.S I Love you - R4949 - 1976 Black label re-issue with emi logo - Plays Ex.
(3) Please Please me / Ask me why - 45-R-4983 - 1963 - matrix - 1n/1n - Plays Vg+ - some slight crackle leading into track on b side.
(4) From me to you / Thank you girl - R5015 - 1963 - matrix 1n/1n - Plays ex- - couple of noticeable surface marks on b side although they don't affect playback.
(5) She loves you / I'll get you - R5055 - 1963 - matrix 1n/1n - Plays Ex- - some spindle wear - see pics.
(6) I Want to hold your hand / This boy - R5084 - 1963 - matrix 1n/1n - Plays Ex.
(7) Can't buy me love / You can't do that - R5114 - 1964 - matrix 1n/1n - Plays Vg+ - noticeable surface mark on b side which doesn't affect playback.
(8) A Hard day's night / Things we said today - R5160 - 1964 - matrix 1n/1n - Plays ex- - light surface mark on a side which doesn't affect playback.
(9) I Feel fine / She's a woman - R5200 - 1964 - matrix 1n/1n - Plays ex-.
(10) Ticket to ride / Yes it is - R5265 - 1965 matrix 3/2 - Plays Vg+ - visible hairlines on a side although still plays vg+ throughout.
(11) Help / I'm down - R5305 - 1965 - matrix 2/2 - Plays Vg+ - some light crackle on b side.
(12) Day tripper / We can work it out - R5389 - 1965 matrix 1 ? / 4 - Plays Vg+ - some tiny light static clicks n crackle.
(13) Strawberry fields / Penny lane - R5570 - 1976 Re-issue - picture sleeve - Plays Ex.
(14) All you need is love / Baby you're a rich man - R5620 - 1967 matrix 1/2 - solid centre - Plays Ex.
(15) Hello, Goodbye / I Am the walrus - R5655 - 1967 matrix 1/1 - Plays Ex.
(16) Lady Madonna / The inner light - R5675 - 1968 - matrix 3/2 - Plays Ex.
(17) Hey Jude / Revolution - Apple R5722 - 1968 - marix 1/1 - Plays Vg - has noticeable light surface marks and scratches and plays with some crackle as a result - sleeve pretty scruffy.
(18) Let it be / You know my name - Apple R5833 - 1970 Picture sleeve - matrix 1u/1u - it has a cancelled out matrix on the b side - Plays Vg - visible surface mark on b side which doesn't affect playback although some static crackle heard in places.
(19) The Beatles Hits EP - Gep 8880 - 1963 - matrix 2n/2n - Plays Vg - lots of light surface marks and light scratches visible - a couple of clicks are heard at the start of both tracks on the b side.
(20) Twist and shout EP - Gep 8882 - 1963 - matrix 2n/1n - Plays Vg - lots of light surface marks and light scratches visible - a couple of light clicks were heard at the start of tk1 on side 2 and also some static crackle heard in places.
(21) The Beatles Hits No 1 - Gep 8883 - 1963 - matrix 1n/1n - Plays Ex- .
(22) Extracts from the album A Hard Day's Night - Gep 8924 - 1964 - Plays Vg+ - some light surface marks and light scratches visible - a couple of light ticks heard on tk 1 on side 2.
The sleeves I would say are mainly Vg with most showing some age related wear, some creasing , small writing etc but overall nothing too major considering most are 50 years old or there abouts - please study pics for better idea of sleeve condition.
Records have all been graded as per the Record Collectors guide.
Please note a middle of the road Technics deck was used to play test all the records, Results may vary slightly on inferior or superior playback equipment.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
