Description
I have up for auction an Album "Set" of 4 records (78s) on the red Columbia label. I use the term 'Set' but not quite sure. It is by Frank Sinatra and the inside blurb says "Columbia Presents Frank Sinatra". Originally I thought this particular Album booklet was sold just as the booklet itself by Columbia. But I have found at least 2 or 3 of these with exactly the same Sinatra records in them. Although the numbers are not consecutive, it is possibly a Set that dealers put together themselves during the 40s. In any case it would be interesting to find out. The records include:
1. #36947, "Full Moon And Empty Arms" and "You Are Too Beautiful".
2. #36987, "Something Old Something New" and "From This Day Forward".
3. #37048, "How Cute Can You Be" and "Five Minutes More".
4. #37054, "Somewhere In The Night" and "One Love".
The Set if from new old stock and the records are in excellent to E+ condition-look almost new. No wear and scuffs or scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still very shiny and clean. Cover and sleeves also in very good condition; some minor fraying on edges.
