Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 3 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the blue Columbia Masterworks label. It is Set MM-598 by Dimitri Mitropoulos conducting the Robin Hoods Dell Orchestra and it is entitled "Chopiniana". Compositions of Frederic Chopin arranged by Dimitri Rogal-Lewitzsky. The records include Etude No.12 in C Minor-Op.10-"Revolutionary"; Nocturne No.13 in C Minor-Op.48, No.1; Mazurka No.25 in B Minor-Op.33, No.4; Valse Brillante No.14 in E Minor-Op.posth.; Polonaise No.6 in A Flat Major-Op.53, completed on the 6 sides. The Set is from new old stock and I actually unwrapped this one myself. The records are in excellent to E+ condition, no wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean! Cover and inside sleeves in excellent condition as well with musical descriptions and photo of Mitropoulos on inside front.
