Add’’l Comments:  WOW, VERY RARE ROCKABILLY 45!  THIS IS COL JOYE & THE JOY BOYS ON THE HARD TO FIND DECCA PROMO LABEL # 30933.  VINYL HAS STRONG AUDIO WITH A BIT OF STATIC NOISE IN QUIET AREAS; VISUALLY SHOWS MODERATE STACKING/STORAGE WEAR.  LABEL STILL DISPLAYS NICELY WITH JUST LIGHT AGE WEAR AND A HARD TO SEE PENCIL WRITTEN NAME.  THIS SELDOM SEEN AND HARD TO FIND 45 WILL BE A BIG ADDITION TO ANY EARLY ROCK/ROCKABILLY VINYL COLLECTION.

We grade all vinyl according to the Goldmine standards which are as follows:

Mint (M) - "These are absolutely perfect in every way."

Near Mint (NM) - "it looks like it just came from a retail store and was opened for the first time." NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers, or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any spindle marks from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable.

Very Good Plus (VG+) - These records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated play has not misshaped the center hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticed.

Very Good (VG) - These records have more obvious flaws. The lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches, deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, perhaps even an occasional audible light scratch, especially in soft passages and during a song’’s intro and ending.

Lesser grades such as Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-) will be addressed at time of listing.
