There’s no pop filler on this. Col is either doing fifties classics like School Day and Melbourne (Kansas) City or exploring the areas that the Stones and Yardbirds were into overseas (eg Evil Hearted Man; My Babe; Trouble in Mind etc) Against the odds, I think he and the Joyboys do well with the material but the public at the time didn’t. This didn’t sell and Col retreated into pop. This album however now remains one of his most elusive. It’s a first press Festival mono release. It was later reissued on Calendar. Top end item.
CONDTION WISE:
Record : M- Labels : M- Cover : EX
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD +; Obviously has been played many times. No major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Some wear and tear on cover or contents.
VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times, some deterioration in sound quality cover, label, extras. Moderate amount of wear and tear.
VERY GOOD-; Further deterioration in sound quality. Considerable wear and tear on cover and it’s contents
GOOD; Just playable. Considerable surface noise. It may even jump. Heavy scratches etc Cover has very serious problems eg defacing, staining missing pieces etc
