Description
Purchased Brand New through mail order from Subterranean Records in the 1980's. Still in original shrink wrap with one end opened to access album. PLAYED ONCE to record onto cassette tape. I always used a Shure M91ED stylus and cartridge tracking at 1 gram.
Cover is in Like New condition, the front (Code of Honor side) on the bottom right corner is slightly dented in and a light vertical crease along the top access edge (see pictures). All other corners, faces, edges and album access edges are in excellent shape, with lettering centered on spine.
Plain white inner paper sleeve has a creasing on the bottom corner, with some light creasing on the top two corners (see pictures). There are no rips, splits or tearing.
Subterranean Records Merchandise Insert is in Excellent condition with a light horizontal "curl" on the bottom edge just under "coming soon Flpper Live" (see pictures).
Vinyl has been played once. Vinyl is in Like New condition with no "surface scuffing or surface scratching" visible in critical sunlight. Labels look good with some small indents seen on the outer edge of labels.

(Note from seller: everything holds true for this being a 1982 release, It has the white lettering instead of the 1986 red lettering release, however the stumper is that it came with a May 1986 Subterranean Records Merchandise two-sided insert. Kind of a head scratcher. Discogs states: 1982 press vinyl with text only labels (see white vinyl version) but with bands name and title printed in red on newer sleeve (same as this repress). Copies with poster and Subterranean Catalogues dated November 1986 and later August 1988.
- I have run into this same merchandise insert dating with Subterranean before, which, made me ask if they don't shrink wrap until they sell and add the most recent insert?).

Code of Honor was a punk hardcore band from San Francisco, CA, formed in early September, 1981, after the break-up of Sick Pleasure. The band was known for its politically charged and socially conscious lyrics, which often contrasted with the irreverence of their predecessor, Sick Pleasure. They were part of the northern California hardcore milieu and played a significant rolein the skate punk movement. The band's music evolved over time, incorporating elements of classic rock and new wave, and hey were known for their energetic performances and socially conscious lyrics.
