Description

CLIFFORD JORDAN QUARTET "Spellbound" LP. Original 1960 LP on the blue deep groove Riverside label RLP-340.......this has the "mike & two reels of tape" logo. This is the rarer mono issue. The players are Clifford Jordan (tenor sax), Cedar Walton (piano), Spanky DeBrest (bass) & Albert Heath (drums). The songs are "Toy", "Lush Life", "Moon-a-tic", "Spellbound", "Hot Water", "Last Night When We Were Young" & "Au Privave". This is in BEAUTIFUL condition!

  • Condition/Description : The cover is in stunning NM- condition and has been covered all of these years by clean & tight shrinkwrap. The cover looks basically new with only a small crease to the lower right corner. The heavy vinyl shines like new with a couple of very light "in & out" of the sleeve scuffs. The blue deep groove labels are in NM condition. This looks just about unplayed. This comes with the original rice paper inner sleeve (this has a tear). Super nice! Please check out the photos below. I just recently purchased a small collection of Jazz LP's that are in top-grade condition that date from the late 1950's to the early-to-mid 1960's.
