Description

This is an absolutely beautiful original 1955 pressing of the classic Clifford Brown with Strings LP on EmArcy MG-36005. Original drummer label on deep groove vinyl, with the blue-print back cover. The disc has a few light scuffs and superficial marks but barely. It plays almost flawlessly with a few moments of very very light crackle, but really barely at all. There is a little bit of that cloudy look on the disc but that is common for this label and not at all damage. It doesn't affect the play in the least. Really this is an incredibly beautiful sounding copy. The cover is also remarkably clean. I don't think I have ever seen a better looking cover for this album. There is a little light wear but barely. A very soft crease at the lower left corner but that's about all. Crisp and clean edges and corners, with NO ringwear and NO seam splits. The spine is even perfectly readable, which is almost never the case. This is an absolutely top, top original copy, very very hard to top.
