CLIFF RICHARD & THE SHADOWS - SUMMER HOLIDAY ( U.K. MONO FIRST PRESSING *RARE* UNPLAYED ALBUM)
THIS ALBUM IS ONE OF A VERY LARGE COLLECTION I HAVE ACQUIRED OF UNPLAYED ALBUMS. THE PREVIOUS OWNER BOUGHT HIS COLLECTION OF MAINLY SOUNDTRACK ALBUMS AND ELVIS PRESLEY IN THE 60s THROUGH TO THE 80s BUT NEVER PLAYED THEM AND STORED THEM VERY CAREFULLY. CONSEQUENTLY THE ALBUMS ARE IN PERFECT, AS NEW CONDITION WHICH IS WHY THEY ARE LISTED AS NEW. THIS IS A STUNNING COLLECTION,THE LIKE OF WHICH I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE, AND A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR SERIOUS COLLECTORS TO BUY NEW COPIES OF RARE COLLECTABLE ALBUMS, MANY OF WHICH ARE OVER 40 YEARS OLD.
THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION.
THE FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK SLEEVE IS IN MINT CONDITION; THE PHOTO SHOWS THE SUPERB SHEEN ON THE COVER.
THE INNER SLEEVE IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION; THE LIGHT CREASING VISIBLE IN THE PHOTO MUST HAVE OCCURED WHEN THE RECORD WAS ORIGINALLY PACKAGED.
THIS ALBUM WAS RELEASED IN 1963 ON COLUMBIA RECORDS CAT.NO. 33SX 1472.
THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE XAX 2421-1N / 2422 -1N.
DUE TO THE VALUE OF THESE RECORDS THEY WILL BE SENT TO THE WINNING BIDDER VIA SIGNED FOR DELIVERY IN THE U.K. AND INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR DELIVERY TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
ALL THE ALBUMS I SELL ARE VERY SECURELY PACKAGED WITH TWO STIFFENERS AND NEW PLASTIC SLEEVES. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Packaging
Items are sent out in high quality, professional record packaging, with stiffeners for protection.
