TITLE:  "Japan Tour '74" double stereo LP on EMI record label.  Cat. No. EMS-67037-38.

DESCRIPTION:  This double LP has just been featured in the October edition of Record Collector magazine as one of 50 Cliff collectables.  It comes in a gatefold sleeve and features Cliff recorded live on his 1974 Japanese tour at Shinjiku Koseinenkin, Tokyo on 7th & 8th October of that year.  It is an unusual collection of songs that includes 60's classics Make It Easy On Yourself, The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore, Get Back, Early In The Morning and You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' together with Cliff's own hits, gospel songs and a rock medley of standards familiar to all.  It comes with a loose leaf 4 page lyric booklet/inner and is a rare piece of recorded Cliff history.  Cliff's supporting band were Trevor Spencer (d), Alan Tarney (b), Bruce Welch (g), Barrie Guard (p), Cliff Hall (p), Brian Lewis (g) and Kevin Peek (classical g).

CONDITION:  The gatefold sleeve is of thick cardboard typical of the American type.  It is intact, there are no splits or tears which this type does suffer from and no writing or other major defect.  There is only some very slight corner rubbing here and there and the spine is solid and fully readable.  I would grade the cover at EXCELLENT PLUS condition.  The vinyl on all four sides is EXCELLENT PLUS to MINT condition as are the labels with only little evidence of spindle marks suggesting very few previous plays.  The run in grooves are silent and there is no hiss or crackle.  The vinyl records come in plain white paper sleeves which are in EXCELLENT condition subject to some slight creasing consistent with normal wear and tear.  The lyric inner booklet is also in EXCELLENT PLUS condition.

GRADINGS EXPLAINED: As taken from The Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide.

MINT:  The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and tear.

VERY GOOD:  The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

N.B.  The addition of PLUS or MINUS to the above indicates an "in-between" grading.

POSTAGE ETC:  UK First Class Recorded delivery will be used in all cases.  I appreciate that this does cost a little more but provides some degree of protection should anything go missing, or get damaged, in transit.  For overseas buyers postage is by standard Air Mail unless a request is made for International Signed For which does cost extra.  N.B. For higher priced items buyers should consider asking for additional insurance which I am happy to arrange at cost. Otherwise I do try to keep P&P at cost and I do not aim to make profit from postage.  Packaging is purpose made mailers with stiffening as appropriate.

RETURN POLICY:  If not fully satisfied I am happy to refund at the ebay hammer price, excluding p&p.  However, items must be returned within 7 days of receipt, in the condition they were posted to the buyer and in the original packaging.  I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
