CLIFF RICHARD   10" ONE SIDED ACETATE
"NOW'S THE TIME TO FALL IN LOVE"
(written by Bruce Welch & Pete Chester)

This is probably (but would need further confirmation) the unissued 26th July 1960 abandoned 'take' of this song which went on to receive 40+ 'takes' before finding a home in various 'guises.

For comparison consider these facts.  First off this 'take' lasts for barely 2 minutes.   There are no SHADOWS harmony vocals - just CLIFF - no HANK MARVIN  solos so the whole track is basically a backing track.   The 16 bar break normally filled by Hank's solo is absolutely bare-bones, just a driving rhythm section.   The track falls apart after almost two minutes and voices are heard fading away.

Despite the grim looking surface the acetate has excellent audio reproduction without any skips or jumps.

The label area has "CLIFF RICHARD XLV (45 RPM) NOW'S THE TIME TO TALL IN LOVE" handwritten in faded pink crayon.

This is historically a rare find.
