LP is in EX/EX+ condition.
Light to moderate surface marks are present, however these flaws are topical only and the actual audio quality far outweighs any appearance of previous use. This lp has been fully play graded to strictly conform to this condition, and is fully guaranteed.

The fidelity is excellent, with no audible tracking distortion(s) of any kind.  Although intermittent and/or spurious background noise may occur, it will be below the level of audible distraction. This lp play grade's as near mint.


Jacket is in NM/EX+ condition. Original heavy and glossy jacket is nice.  There is light  wear on two corners as in image and the original owner's name and address are on the back.  This information is discreetly placed away from the liner notes.
From the start of his career, Clifford Jordan had a very personal and instantly recognizable sound on his tenor.  This rare and original Blue Note lp was Jordan's second as a leader (following a blowing date with John Gilmore three months earlier) and has a typically miraculous Blue Note all-star group from 1957.  Jordan Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, John Jenkins, Ray Bryant, Paul Chambers and Art Taylor perform Beyond The Blue Horizon and four obscure but excellent originals.  This is hard bop at its best!
